The Field of Art and Design at GU is pleased to announce the launch of its monthly Design Talks series, featuring leading designers and professionals in the industry. The series aims at inspiring and educating the next generation of designers by providing a platform for prominent industry professionals to share their experiences and insights.
Hosted by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Shakour and Dr. Reem Hesham, the inaugural GU Design Talks event showcased talks by renowned designers and professionals. The event featured Mr. Mohamed Baitie, Business Development Director at GLC Paints, and Ahmad Fayyad & Malak Rashad from F&R Partnership.
During the event, these distinguished speakers provided valuable insights into the creative process behind their designs, as well as the latest color trends in the field. GU Design Talks is set to become a premier event for our students to benefit from the expertise of industry leaders.
Moreover, a protocol of cooperation was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, GU’s Acting President and Mr. Muhammad Amin Al-Hout, Executive Director of GLC Paints Company. This protocol aims to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two institutions in various fields of specialization, in addition to developing the skills of #GU students by linking them to the actual needs of the labor market
