GU’s Pharmacy students visited the Desert Research Center for a day of exploration and learning. The students had the opportunity to tour the laboratories and learn about the groundbreaking research being conducted there. They also gained insights into the cutting-edge research being conducted in the laboratories and were able to witness the application of this research in real-world scenarios. In addition, they attended a presentation by Dr. Hosam Shawky, the vice president for Projects and Research Stations. who provided an in-depth overview of the center’s work and its impact on society.
