Our talented students from the Fashion & Textile Design program had an incredible opportunity to participate in the prestigious “Fiber & Textile” summer school at the Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan!
During their time at the summer school, our students had the privilege of collaborating and networking with specialists from the Faculty of Fiber Science & Engineering. They were introduced to a world of cutting-edge fiber/textile technologies and scientific advancements, opening their minds to endless possibilities!
Attending lectures and engaging in discussions led by KIT professors, our students gained invaluable insights into the groundbreaking research and development happening at the Institute. They also had the chance to participate in thrilling laboratory experiments and explore KIT’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Our students also got the chance to go on exciting tours to fiber and textile companies, witnessing research results in action. They also had a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of Japan, visiting museums and indulging in some sightseeing.
This summer school experience provided our students with a profound understanding of the immense potential within the Fashion & Textile fields, giving them insights about the new advancements of the world of fashion and textile.
