GU proudly hosted Dr. Peter Rada, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs at the Budapest Metropolitan University, for an engaging seminar on “International Collaboration, Funding Opportunities, and Scholarships.” The event, organized under the Erasmus Mobility program, aimed to foster international exchange and mobility for staff and students, while exploring the potential for joint research, workshops, and conferences.
Dr. Peter Rada is a distinguished academic and diplomat, renowned for his expertise in security policy and Trans-Atlantic cooperation. Currently serving as the Vice-Rector for Foreign Affairs at Budapest Metropolitan University, Dr. Rada has made significant contributions to academia and diplomacy. He has authored numerous publications, co-authored a textbook, and held esteemed positions at the Hungarian Embassy in Washington, D.C., as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
During the visit, Professor Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, GU President, warmly welcomed Dr. Rada and expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration between the two institutions. Professor El Shinawi showcased GU’s state-of-the-art facilities and up-to-date technology, highlighting the university’s commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment for students and researchers alike.
