Galala University proudly hosted the inaugural Scientific Day for its Technology of Prosthetic Dentistry Program, led by Program Director Dr. Maha Fouad. The event, titled “Digital Design Workflow By EXO-CAD,” showcased the program’s dedication to advancing dental technology within the realm of Applied Health Sciences.
Renowned experts like Dr. Ahmed Youssef, Digital Lab Director at MIU University’s Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Huda Fakhry, Lecturer of Removable Prosthodontics at Cairo University and Digital Lab Director at its Faculty of Dentistry, delivered enlightening lectures. These talks explored how digital technology is revolutionizing the design and manufacturing of dental restorations.
Attendees also participated in an interactive workshop centered on EXO-CAD and Medit Software, gaining practical experience with state-of-the-art design technology. Notable figures such as GU President Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, Vice President for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ehab Hussanien, and Applied Health Sciences Field Dean Dr. Adel El Ged were present, highlighting the university’s commitment to providing students access to cutting-edge advancements in dental technology.
