On June 24, 2024, we proudly celebrated the culmination of our Architectural Design and Digital Architecture Program with an outstanding jury session. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our esteemed jury members: Prof. Hassan Abdelsalam, Prof. Hisham Gabr, Prof. Engy Darweesh, Assistant Prof. Sarah Sadani, Dr. Hisham Elkady, Dr. Dina el Mahdi, Dr. Shereen Abo Dagher, Dr. Samer Al Seyary, Dr. Nabil Kareem, Arch. Ahmed Gendia, and Arch. Mazen Abdul Karim for their invaluable insights and guidance.
The day commenced with a tour of the scenic Galala area and our university’s cutting-edge facilities, showcasing our commitment to integrating state-of-the-art technology in education. The jury was thoroughly impressed by the innovative projects presented by our students. These projects included parametric designs, interactive installations, and advanced construction methods, demonstrating not only exceptional skill but also a deep understanding of emerging technologies in architecture.
Following the project presentations, a dynamic roundtable discussion took place, focusing on the future of architecture in Egypt and the global scene. Discussions centered around the impact of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other advanced tools in transforming architectural practices.
