Galala University has successfully concluded the Startup Olympics with a grand closing ceremony, marking the culmination of a transformative journey for aspiring entrepreneurs. The event, held in collaboration with the Support Innovators Fund (ISF) and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, President of Galala University, showcased the exceptional talent and innovative spirit of the university’s students.
The ceremony was a celebration of achievement, as the top 10 teams out of 26 were awarded for their outstanding business and entrepreneurial ideas . Special recognition was given to projects demonstrating exceptional innovation, sustainability, and pitch presentation.
The Startup Olympics was more than just a competition; it was a comprehensive program designed to foster entrepreneurial growth. Participants embarked on a learning journey that included ideation camps, workshops, mentorship sessions, and technical support, equipping them with the necessary skills to transform their ideas into viable businesses.
The three teams securing the top positions will now proudly represent Galala University at the Canal Regional Qualification, a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi expressed immense pride in the students’ accomplishments, emphasizing the university’s dedication to creating an ecosystem that supports innovation and entrepreneurship. “We are thrilled to witness the potential of our students and their ability to develop groundbreaking solutions to real-world challenges,” he stated.
