Faculty of Engineering team from Galala University has qualified and participated in the final stage of the Air Defence College ISEIC 2024 competition with their innovative project, “Smart Agriculture Monitoring System.” The event was held at the premises of the Egyptian Military Academy in New Cairo, under the supervision of Engineer Omar Khedr.
The team comprises three students from the Mechatronics Engineering department and two from the Artificial Intelligence department. Their project leverages artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to revolutionize agricultural practices. The primary objectives of the “Smart Agriculture Monitoring System” include:

– Providing users with accurate and timely information
