In a significant step toward fostering international academic collaboration, the Peace Memorial Center at Galala University has signed a letter of intent with the Inoue Enryo Research Center at Toyo University, Japan. This agreement, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, President of Galala University, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening ties with leading Japanese universities. The agreement was signed by Prof. Hassan Kamal Harb, Director of the Peace Memorial Center, and Prof. Ibuki Atsushi, Vice President of the Inoue Enryo Research Center. This LOI represents a foundational step toward establishing a formal partnership aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation.
The partnership aspires to create a dynamic academic and research hub by promoting knowledge exchange, fostering innovation, and developing joint projects that align with the shared academic and cultural objectives of both universities. Students and researchers from Galala and Toyo Universities will benefit from enhanced educational and research opportunities that support academic excellence and cross-cultural understanding.

Founded in 1887 by the philosopher Inoue Enryo, Toyo University is one of Japan’s oldest private universities.
