Galala University Hosts the Scientific Day for Prosthetics and Prosthetic Devices: “Move Beyond Limits”

The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Galala University organized the Scientific Day for Prosthetics and Prosthetic Devices under the slogan ” Move Beyond Limits.” This event aimed to advance knowledge and innovation in the field of prosthetics, focusing on the latest assistive technologies and their transformative impact on improving patients’ lives and healthcare services.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, President of Galala University, emphasized the institution’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation in healthcare. He highlighted the importance of providing a platform where experts, specialists, and students can exchange knowledge and contribute to advancements in prosthetics. “This initiative is part of our mission to improve patients’ lives and strengthen the healthcare community,” he stated.

Dr. Adel El-Ged, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, pointed out that the event aimed to raise awareness about the pivotal role of prosthetics in rehabilitation. He noted that the discussions and presentations showcased the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics in the design and manufacturing of prosthetics. Dr. Ahmed Al-Yasqi, Director of the Prosthetics Program at Galala University, shared details about the event’s workshops, which focused on practical and applied aspects of prosthetics in light of recent developments.
