As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and contributing to the development of the Red Sea region, Galala University has launched a series of community service convoys under the “Bedaya Initiative.” This initiative is aimed at enhancing national efforts toward achieving the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030 through integrated development programs in health, education, culture, and technology.
These convoys are an integral part of Galala University’s efforts to promote sustainable development and raise community awareness in various regions. The most recent convoy took place over two days in Safaga City.
Major General Dr. Yasser El-Sayed, Executive Director of the Consulting and Training Center at Galala University, emphasized that these initiatives reflect the university’s dedication to providing comprehensive support to local communities. The focus is on improving access to healthcare and offering high-quality medical services to those in need, with a particular emphasis on health education and disease prevention.
The convoy included a range of services, including medical examinations and comprehensive tests offered through outpatient clinics in various specialties, such as cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, women’s health, pediatrics, dentistry, and physiotherapy. Additionally, medical awareness lectures on preventing chronic diseases were conducted, with free medicines dispensed to those in need.
