Galala University Medical Convoy Provides Care and Support to Al-Nour School for the Blind in Suez

Galala University’s medical, social, and educational convoy recently visited Al-Nour School for the Blind in Suez City, providing vital medical care and psychosocial support to students with special needs. This initiative underscores the university’s commitment to community service and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
During the visit, nearly 300 students with special needs underwent comprehensive medical examinations across various specialties. The university’s medical team provided necessary care and treatment, addressing a range of health concerns. In addition to medical services, the convoy organized engaging counseling and dialogue sessions with the children. These sessions offered a supportive environment for the students to connect, share their experiences, and receive encouragement.

The university recognizes the importance of accessible healthcare and strives to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with special needs. By providing both medical care and psychosocial support, Galala University aims to empower these students and contribute to their overall well-being.
