In the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Galala University signed a cooperation agreement with E& Egypt to establish a state-of-the-art wired and wireless communications laboratory. The agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, President of Galala University, and Eng. Hossam El-Maadawy, CEO of the Institutional Sector at E& Egypt, marks a significant step in integrating industry expertise with academic excellence.
H.E. Dr. Ayman Ashour emphasized that this partnership aligns with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, reinforcing the collaboration between academia and industry. He highlighted the growing demand for communications and IT fields, noting a 40% increase in student enrollment in these disciplines over the past year.
The new lab will provide students with hands-on training on the latest communication technologies, preparing them for the evolving job market. Prof. Dr. Adel El-Adawy, GU’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi stressed that this initiative enhances GU’s academic reputation and research capabilities, while Eng. Hazem Metwally, CEO of E& Egypt, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting young talents and advancing Egypt’s communications sector.
