Galala University proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its Faculty of Medicine students at the Student Research Conference (MISR) hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, on February 23-24, 2025.
In a remarkable accomplishment, third-year students from the Faculty of Medicine secured first place with a joint research project conducted in collaboration with students from Ain Shams and Cairo Universities. Adding to this success, first-year students from the same faculty also won first place in the research proposals category, demonstrating their academic excellence and innovative thinking.
Galala University was honored with the shield for the highest number of research contributions at this prestigious annual event, now in its eighth edition. The university presented 19 research papers, including fifteen from the Faculty of Medicine and two each from the Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.
Additionally, the university received a fourth shield in recognition of its students’ voluntary efforts in organizing the conference. Their dedication and enthusiasm played a crucial role in the event’s success, reinforcing GU’s commitment to fostering leadership and academic collaboration.
