Faculty of Administrative Sciences Hosts Insightful Lecture on Climate Change in the Arab Region

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Galala University recently hosted a lecture titled “Environment and Climate Change in the Arab Region: Effects and Policies.” The event provided a comprehensive overview of the pressing environmental challenges facing the region and explored key policies aimed at mitigating climate change effects.

The distinguished speaker, Dr. Mahmoud Fathallah, Director of the Department of Environmental & Meteorological Affairs (EMA) and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment (CAMRE) at the League of Arab States (LAS) in Cairo, shared valuable insights on climate change’s impact on Arab communities. He emphasized the urgent need for sustainable policies and collaborative regional efforts to address environmental issues effectively.

Faculty members, students, and guests actively engaged in discussions, gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s environmental landscape and the necessary actions to foster resilience and sustainability.
