As part of Galala University’s commitment to equipping students with essential skills for real-world challenges, Eunoia Club, in collaboration with the Red Crescent, organized the seminar “PT Powerup: Critical Cases in Focus” at the Faculty of Physical Therapy. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ ability to assess and manage complex medical cases effectively.
Building on the success of the program’s first phase, held on the 10th and 11th of the month, the event continued with “PT Powerup: Assessment Program,” featuring a lecture by Dr. Alaa Ramadan, Teaching Assistant in the Basic Sciences Department. The session provided students with hands-on knowledge and practical insights into case assessment and treatment planning.
During the seminar, students explored key aspects of physical therapy case management, including:
Understanding different cases presented in the assessment program.
Identifying accurate diagnoses based on clinical criteria and patient complaints.
Developing effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
Enhancing rehabilitation planning skills to improve patient outcomes.
This initiative aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being by promoting quality education in healthcare and ensuring future physical therapists are equipped to provide effective patient care. It also supports SDG 4: Quality Education by fostering a learning environment that integrates theory with practical experience.
