Galala University, in collaboration with Graphic Design, recently organized a groundbreaking competition for Graphic Design students from all Egyptian universities. The primary goal of this competition was to foster creativity and artistic expression of peace and freedom.
The event was a tremendous success, with over 900 students and professors in attendance, alongside esteemed media agencies and consultants. The day was packed with insightful talks on topics such as artificial intelligence and the development of creative works in the graphics field.
In an inspiring keynote speech, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hanno, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design at Galala University, shed light on the university’s pivotal role as a center for creativity in graphic design and emphasized the significance of creative thinking in this dynamic field.
More than 200 students from various arts faculties participated in the competition. Our remarkable student, Tasneem Talab/fourth year won the first place, the second place was won equally by the student Ahmed Al-Halafawi in the third year, and the third place was won equally by the student Alaa Hussein in the third year.
Furthermore, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 14 students in the graphic design program who received certificates of appreciation for their outstanding contributions.
This competition marks a significant milestone as the first of its kind, establishing a vital link between university education and the labor market. It also opens up incredible training opportunities for students with major media agencies and specialized companies.
