Students from the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology at GU visited the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to tour the hospital’s various departments, gaining valuable insights into its operations and the comprehensive care provided to young patients.
A highlight of the visit was the students’ interaction with the children. They distributed giveaways, spreading joy and smiles among the young patients. Demonstrating solidarity and compassion, the students also made personal donations to support the hospital.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, GU President, expressed his pride in the students’ dedication to community service. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in shaping well-rounded healthcare professionals who are not only skilled but also compassionate and empathetic.
