GU Excels in Central Bank of Egypt’s “FinYology – FinTech for Youth” Competition!

The Central Bank of Egypt’s “FinYology – FinTech for Youth” competition concluded with a grand finale after three months of intensive workshops. This initiative, co-organized with leading banking institutions, challenged university teams to propose innovative FinTech solutions.

GU’s Faculty of Administrative Sciences rose to the challenge with six creative teams competing. Their proposals spanned diverse areas, including banking wallets, stock market apps, and AgriTech solutions. Three teams advanced to the finals, showcasing the university’s exceptional talent.

The winning team, “B-Flosy,” impressed judges with their gamified financial education platform for teenagers. Their solution includes a fun platform for financial management, a secure children’s wallet, a rewarding system, and parental monitoring. The team members, Salma Amin, Fares Mohamed, and Seif Amr, received guidance from Dr. Rashed Refaat and Eng. Alwan Atef.

Galala University’s success underscores its commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship. Congratulations to B-Flosy and all the participating teams! We look forward to their continued contributions to the evolving world of FinTech.
