Galala University (GU) has signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries CO. ESIIC to foster collaboration in both scientific and practical fields by linking scientific research and its outcomes with practical applications. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shinawi, President of Galala University, and Major General Essam El-Badawy, Executive Managing Director of the Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries CO. ESIIC.
The protocol aims to exchange scientific consultations and practical expertise, with Galala University providing various forms of support to develop technological methods to increase production and overcome key challenges to achieve self-sufficiency. This will be accomplished through collaboration in research projects, student training, scientific conferences, workshops, student forums, and employment fairs.
Additionally, the protocol includes provisions for students to receive training at the company’s factories, where they will learn about modern techniques across all company sectors. This hands-on experience will allow students to gain practical knowledge of production stages and the latest technologies. Furthermore, the company will support students’ graduation projects by providing raw materials and technical guidance from its experts.
The Egyptian Sugar and Integrated Industries CO. ESIIC, known as the “Fortress of National Industry,” is a prominent entity in Egypt’s industrial landscape, with extensive production and geographical reach across the country.
