Job Summary:
The University English Instructor will be responsible for teaching language courses in English, including but not limited to composition, conversation, creative writing, linguistics, and rhetoric. The instructor will foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages attendees engagement This role involves creating lesson plans, grading assignments, applying different methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
· Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction in a variety of English courses -Courses may include composition, grammar and conversation.
· Course Development: Develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments to align with the objectives and institutional goal
· Curriculum Improvement: Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning
· Professional Development Maintain expertise in the field and stay up-to-date with trends in English studies and pedagogy.
Qualifications:
· Education: PhD degree in English Education, Literature, or a closely related field required
· Experience: Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred. Experience with online or hybrid teaching formats is a plus.
