Dr. Rasha Shalaby is a molecular microbiologist with more than ten years of research, teaching, and diagnostic experience in Egypt and the USA. She is a Fulbright alumnus and an awardee of the prestigious Science by Women postdoctoral fellowship funded by Fundación Mujeres Por África, Spain. She has published and presented her research in various reputable international journals, conferences, and symposia. Dr. Shalaby has also held director-level positions at multiple governmental and corporate research labs in Egypt. Her research interest centers on developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic modalities for microbial pathogens of public health importance.
