Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, GU Acting President, GU launched the first Reading Week, on Sunday December 4th and will last till next Thursday, December 8th.
The events will include many educational activities and seminars for GU students, with the participation of a group of guest speakers in various fields, including journalism, theater, cinema, sports, as well as many competitions for distinctive students.
This aligns with the University’s belief in the importance of reading and self-education, as it aims to spread the benefits of reading among the students and enable them to acquire many skills necessary for their development in various fields.
This event is in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in addition to several publishers, among which are: Dar Al-Maarif, Leaders, Kayan, Abiyedi, Dark, and Noon.
