Dr. Hend Galal Eldeen Mohamed Ali Hassan is a prominent figure in the field of radiology, holding key positions at both Galala University and Ain Shams University.
Currently serving as the Program Director of Technology of Radiation and Medical Imaging at Galala University, Dr. Hend oversees the development and implementation of advanced technologies in the field. Concurrently, she works as a Consultant in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, where she brings her expertise to clinical practice.
With an impressive 16-year background in General Radiology, Dr. Hend has honed her skills in various subfields, specializing particularly in cardiothoracic imaging for the past 6 years. Her dedication to excellence in diagnostic imaging is evident through her extensive experience and focused expertise.
Dr. Hend’s academic and professional journey includes a notable 3-year fellowship in fetal medicine at Cairo University, where she delved into fetal anomaly scan and fetal cardiac imaging. Notably, she introduced fetal cardiac MRI as a supplementary tool to fetal echo, demonstrating her innovative approach to diagnostic imaging.
In addition to her clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Hend has actively contributed to the education and training of future radiological technologists. For 2 years, she managed and directed the Radiological Technologist program, playing a crucial role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals and contributing to Galala University’s strategic plans for excellence in education and research.
