Program Description

This Program introduces a cluster of concepts, theories and applied professional skills that are based on two disciplines; Sociology and Psychology. The student would be able to understand and analyze issues and problems of a sociological and psychological nature on the individual and social level. The Program also offers knowledge and skills that are based on the use of scientific techniques common in sociology and psychology. They include designing research, developing skills of the gathering, and analyzing data as well as writing final research.

Specifications of the Graduate 

A graduate that is capable of designing research tools and applying methods of research in sociology and psychology. Graduates also acquire the skills of doing interviews, case studies, administering questionnaires, psychological scales, field work and social surveys. Moreover, he is able of designing administering, an evaluating social development projects.

To graduate from this program, you need to study the following credit hours:

University Requirement: 20 Credit Hours.

General Field Requirement: 24 Credit Hours.

Major Requirements: 96 Credit Hours.
