On Monday, December 12th. Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, Acting President of Galala University, received the elected Student Union for the new year 2022-2023, congratulating them on their election to represent their colleagues in all fields and programs at the university. Dr. Rana Zeidan, Secretary General of Galala University, and Dr. Ahmed Hanno, Dean of Art and Design at the University, also welcomed the elected students.
In his meeting with the union, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi advised the students to hold periodic meetings to discuss all ideas and plans for the union, and to come up with recommendations to present to the university council, in order to facilitate effective communication in making all necessary decisions.
Prof. Dr. El Shinawi stated that GU will provide all kinds of support and advice to the Student Union to achieve their goals and responsibilities towards their colleagues, in addition to creating an appropriate environment for all student activities of all kinds, scientific, cultural, sports, and entertainment to thrive and enjoy an exceptional learning experience.
The president of the elected students’ union at the university, Mostafa Al-Ashram, a student in the second year of the Field of Dentistry, said that an action plan for the coming period is already in progress, as it will be presented to the university council during its next meeting, pointing to the importance of developing a common vision with all members of the union, to include all student activities. in its various fields.
Finally, Al-Ashram added that there will be ongoing communication with the university administration to improve student activities, stressing that the Student Union will be the focal point with the university administration to overcome any obstacles and solve the problems that face the students.
